Enrollment for Wintersession

TCU is offering a new undergraduate Wintersession to help you maintain progress towards your degree. It’s a great opportunity for you to catch up, stay on track or move ahead.
TUITION NOTE: Costs for the Wintersession are billed separately and are not included in the block-price tuition charged for the fall and spring semesters. This means you will see tuition charges in two semesters: for the Wintersession and for the Spring semester.

Important Information
- MAXIMUM FOUR HOURS - Students are limited to four hours total enrollment during the Wintersession.
- COST - Tuition for Wintersession classes is $1,985 per credit hour. Wintersession classes are not included in the block-price tuition for full-time enrollment.
- ONLINE ONLY - Classes will be delivered with 80-100% synchronous online engagement, to give students more interaction with faculty.
- EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTORS – All instructors have completed eFaculty certification and have experience teaching online.
- DEGREE PROGRESS - Courses have been selected that promote a path toward graduation. Most meet core requirements and many are high-demand classes required for specific majors.
- REGISTRATION - Registration for the Wintersession will run concurrently with Spring 2024 registration. Classes are included in Class Search in your student portal.
- FINANCIAL AID – Need based grants are available for those who qualify. Additional information on how to apply is available on the Scholarships & Financial Aid site. All scholarships, grants, and loans will be posted in the Spring semester even if aid is being received for the Wintersession.
- MINIMUM ENROLLMENT - Each class requires a minimum enrollment of eight students to be approved.
